Subject

Multiplier is a teacher-controlled AI tutoring platform that teaches a school's own curriculum, adapts to each student, and gives teachers live progress insights without extra grading or prep. Ahead of launch, the team needed both a public face and a fundraising story — a landing page to open a waitlist, and an investor deck to raise on — so we designed and built both.

What have we done

  1. Designed and built the Multiplier landing page — hero, product explanation, audience segments and a waitlist signup.
  2. Designed the "Student Experience" section, breaking down how the AI tutor works as a source of knowledge, a learning companion, and a progress tracker.
  3. Designed the investor pitch deck — market opportunity, the case for a hybrid symbolic-AI-plus-LLM approach, a feature comparison against competitors, and the business model.
  4. Mapped the platform to four user groups — students, parents, teachers and administrators — and how each one benefits.
  5. Designed individual course pages, like the "Breakthrough Algebra" course landing page.

Task

The client had a real product in development and a defensible position — a hybrid of symbolic AI and LLMs that teaches instead of just answering — but no public presence yet, and a pitch that needed to hold up in front of investors. Two audiences, two very different documents, in two months with a two-person team.

Solution

We split the work into a landing page built to convert visitors into waitlist signups, and a deck built to convert investors into believers — sharing the same visual identity and product story so neither reads like an afterthought. The landing page leads with the differentiator: teacher-controlled, curriculum-aligned AI tutoring, not a generic chatbot. The deck argues the same point at a level a school never needs to see — why a hybrid of symbolic AI and large language models beats either approach alone.

The same "what makes Multiplier different" argument carries onto the site itself — teacher-controlled, teaching-first, scalable by design, fully customizable — so a visitor gets the differentiator before they are asked to join a waitlist.

The deck goes deeper than the landing page ever needs to — a feature comparison table stacking Multiplier against Chegg, OpenAI Study Mode and generic AI assistants, and an honest breakdown of where symbolic AI and LLMs each fall short on their own.

It also carries the parts a landing page has no room for: the developer environment behind each lesson, the course-authoring tool instructors use to write and tune content, and the team slide that closes the pitch.
