Meta Ads, where the creative is the targeting

Facebook and Instagram still reach almost everyone, and the auction is now won by what you show rather than who you pick. We run the accounts, produce the volume of creative that requires, fix the signal the browser took away, and report against the number you actually care about — for clients in Lithuania and across Europe.

//how we run it

How we run Meta campaigns

[01]

Plumbing first

Pixel, Conversions API, events, exclusions. Spending before the signal works is spending twice.

[02]

Creative batch

Fifteen-odd variants across three angles, shipped together. One hero ad is a coin flip.

[03]

Let it learn

Broad targeting, few ad sets, no daily fiddling. The algorithm needs volume, not opinions.

[04]

Cut and refill

Kill on cost per outcome, not on CTR. Replace the dead ones weekly, forever.

//the funnel

The funnel we actually optimise

Meta will happily report a cheap click all day. The click is stage two of five, and the only stages worth spending against are the last two. Everything we change — audience, creative, landing page, offer — is a bet on moving one specific step, and we say which one before we change it. The ranges below are what we currently see across Baltic and EU accounts; yours will sit somewhere in them on day one, and the job is to move the last two.

//the creative

What actually moves a Meta campaign

[01]

Volume beats polish

Targeting is mostly automated now, so the creative is the variable you still control. Fifteen honest variants outperform one expensive film, every time we have tested it.

[02]

The first second is the ad

Nobody sees the second half of anything. The hook carries the offer, and the rest of the video is for the people the hook already convinced.

[03]

Three angles, not three edits

Variants that differ only in colour teach you nothing. We test a price angle against a problem angle against a proof angle, then produce depth on whichever wins.

[04]

Broad, with good signal

Hand-picked interest stacks were a 2019 skill. What replaces them is clean conversion data going back in, which is why the Conversions API is not optional.

[05]

Fewer ad sets, more budget

An ad set under fifty conversions a week never leaves learning. Splitting a small budget across eight of them is the most common way to waste it.

[06]

The landing page is half of it

We are a development studio first. When the ad is fine and the cost per lead is not, the page usually is the problem — and we can fix that in the same week.

//reporting

No black box, and no panel of ours in the way

For Telegram we run our own platform. For Meta we deliberately do not: everything lives in your Business Manager, your analytics and your CRM, under your ownership. What we add on top is a shared dashboard that puts spend, leads and cost per outcome on one screen, and a weekly note saying what we changed and what it did. You could fire us on a Friday and lose nothing but us.

//the objections

What you are probably thinking

Most people arriving on this page have already tried Meta, or have been told it stopped working. Here are the six things we hear, and what we actually say back.

Illustrated client avatar

“We tried it. It did not work.”

Usually one of three things: the pixel was never firing properly, the budget was split across so many ad sets that none of them left the learning phase, or there were three creatives and they ran for four months. All three are visible in an account audit within an hour, and we will tell you which one it was before you hire us.

Illustrated client avatar

“Tracking is broken since iOS 14.”

Browser-side tracking is degraded, yes. That is what the Conversions API is for: events sent server to server, deduplicated against the pixel, plus a CRM match at the end of the funnel. It is engineering work, which is the part most ad agencies quietly skip.

Illustrated client avatar

“CPMs are too expensive now.”

They are higher than they were. But CPM is not what you buy — cost per customer is, and that is a product of CPM, click-through, landing page and close rate. We have taken accounts where the CPM rose and the cost per lead fell, because three of those four improved.

Illustrated client avatar

“Our audience is not on Facebook.”

Sometimes true — for narrow B2B and for some technical niches we will say so and point you at search or Telegram instead. More often the audience is on Instagram and the assumption is about Facebook specifically. That is an answerable question, not a matter of taste.

Illustrated client avatar

“We do not have creative to run.”

Neither do most of our clients when they start. Production is inside the fee: statics, short video cut from whatever footage exists, and UGC-style pieces. You do not need a brand film to begin, and a brand film is rarely what wins anyway.

Illustrated client avatar

“The last agency held our account hostage.”

Everything is created under your Business Manager with you as owner, and we work as partners on it. There is no contract term to escape — 30 days’ notice, and on the last day you keep the account, the pixel, the creative files and the audiences.

//questions

Meta Ads questions, answered

What is the minimum budget worth starting on?

Around €3,000 of ad spend over six weeks, plus our fee from €3,500. The floor is not arbitrary: below roughly fifty conversions a week an ad set never exits the learning phase, and everything you measure after that is noise.

Do you produce the creative, or do we?

We do, and it is in the fee — statics, short video, UGC-style cuts. If you have a brand book or existing footage we work from it; if you have nothing, that is a normal starting point.

Who owns the ad account and the pixel?

You do, from the first day. Everything is created under your Business Manager with you as owner and us as partner. The creative source files are yours too, delivered on request or at the end.

Can you run Meta alongside Google and Telegram?

Yes, and usually we should. Meta creates demand, search catches it, Telegram is cheap reach with a reusable audience. Marketing support is the page where the whole mix lives.

When would you tell us not to bother?

A very narrow B2B buyer, a sales cycle longer than the attribution window, a budget under the learning threshold, or a product page that would lose the traffic anyway. In those cases the audit ends with a recommendation that is not us running your ads.

Give us read access. We will tell you why it is not working.

One working day, no charge, no deck. We look at the pixel and CAPI setup, the account structure, the creative rotation and the landing pages, and come back with what is broken, in what order we would fix it, and whether it is worth fixing at all.
